Grilled Wild Salmon & Wildflower Honey Glaze

Clean glaze brings our the natural fatty characteristics of Wild Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 1 large wild salmon filet
  • 2 tbs. Emeril's Rustic Rub
  • 1/3 stick of unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup wildflower honey
  • 5 Key Limes
  • 2 tsp lemon marmalade

Instructions:

Remove skin from salmon
slice filet into 4 equal sections
Dust both sides with Emeril's Rustic Rub
Pre-heat grill to 400° F

Make Glaze:
Add honey, juice of Key Limes, lemon marmalade and melted butter together in a sauce pot over medium low heat until all ingredients melt and blend.

Grill salmon for about 3 -4 minutes per side or until the internal temp reaches 127-130° F.

Set salmon pieces in a half pan and glaze both sides. Place back on the cooker in the pan for about 3-4 minutes or until glaze sets.

This is really good I have been using it for awhile, I do omit the salt this way I control how much salt that I put in my dishes.

I'd like to try this with a little powdered cornmeal lightly dusted towards the end of the broiling. Great basic recipe!
